We’ll ask you to bring a form of ID and confirmation of your current address the first time you come to borrow a game. That’s it!
You can browse our available games on our inventory here!
We ask you to reserve games in advance: once you are a member, you can reserve games via MyTurn. We recommend submitting reservations beforehand, to be sure the game is available for loan. We are open for collections and returns every Thursday, 6pm-8pm. Loans are for either 7 or 14 days.
You can borrow four games at once.
You can borrow games for 7 or 14 consecutive days. You can choose this when making a booking on MyTurn.
We ask you to try to enjoy the game within your loan period, so that someone else can enjoy it after you! However, if you need to renew, you can renew the game once via MyTurn. If you are having difficulty renewing, or need to renew further, please email us. If the game hasn’t been reserved, we’ll try to renew it for you.
If you are unable to come in person to pick up/drop off a game for collection/return during our opening hours, we may be able to arrange delivery/collection by cargo bike through our friends at Farr Out Deliveries. There will be a charge for this, likely £3-£5 depending on where in Edinburgh you are based. Please get in contact by email to arrange this.
If you realise you are unable to return a game on time, please get in contact as soon as possible by email – we may be able to arrange collection via FarrOut deliveries for a small fee.
Any game that is returned late means another member is unable to enjoy it. So late games may be charged.
If you lose a piece, or notice a piece is missing, please let us know as soon as possible by email, so we can try to make sure the game is complete for the next person who borrows it.
If you lose a game, you will be charged for the cost of a replacement. If you damage a game to the point that it is no longer playable, you will be charged for the cost of a replacement.
